Best results are already achieved in tunnels with geomembranes. Even water pressures in excess of 100 meters can be realized successfully.

The geomembranes and waterstops as industrially manufactured sealing elements fulfill highly quality requirements (DIN ISO 9001 ff).

To construct a sealing system out of these high quality products it is necessary to create a sophisticated quality assurance system also for the installation on site. The AK TA (Association for tunnel waterproofing) follows this system consistently with its quality monitoring.

Conditions, such as:

• Funktional Quality Management System
• Qualification of employees
• Qualified equipment

As an independent inspection center has been obtained the STUVA (Association for underground structures) in Cologne.

Only the STUVA can confirm the competence of the member companies on the basis of the Quality Monitoring.

After a successful verification the AKTA (Association for tunnel waterproofing) certify this company with the AKTA Certificate for qualified installation company.
